Premium Digital Content Lab

The Premium Digital Content Lab has 30 Mac computers with software and hardware for art editing and animation production. This comprehensive professional lab allows students to produce media, 3D animation, web page and digital learning materials. Major equipment: 30 Mac computers, 3D animation software, graphic design software and teaching material platform for digital learning.

Visual Communication Integration Lab

　The User Cognition and Sensation Laboratory is equipped with an eye-tracking device which detects the users eye movement with vision application, as well as understands and analyzes the users sensory perception. The device further analyzes the strengths and weaknesses of student projects, which helps students to better understand and review their work regarding user cognition and sensation. Lectures using this lab include: introduction to design, visual communication design, illustration design, multi-media program design and 3D computer animation.

Integration Lab of 3D/VR Development and Motion Capture Systems for Education and Research

The Integration Lab of 3D/VR Development and Motion Capture Systems for Education and Research allows speedy production of 3D character models. With the system, students are able to produce sophisticated and professional game animation and characters. The lab also provides platforms, including 3D gloves, and allows performance and demonstrations of senior projects. Major equipment: motion capture system, 3D/VR display system and photographic equipment.

Digital Media Lab

The Digital Media Lab provides a soundproof room as a recording studio, as well as video and audio editing software. Students are able to produce video game soundtracks in the lab. Major equipment: video and audio equipment, video and audio editing equipment.

Computer Classroom for Digital Content Development

The Computer Classroom for Digital Content Development is equipped with 57 computers with high-end servers, and provides 57 sets of authorized 3Ds Max software and a teaching material editing tool for digital learning. Students have access to information, graphic design and 3D computer animation production lessons and digital teaching material development platform. Lectures using this lab include: basic 3D computer animation, advanced 3D computer animation, multimedia design, virtual reality, digital learning theory and digital teaching material production.

Specialized Computer Classroom for Multimedia

The Specialized Computer Classroom for Multimedia is equipped with 50 high-end computers, digital platform and a fixed projector. The lab provides editing learning software, 3D animation, 2D animation, etc. Lectures using this lab include digital learning material production, basic 3D computer animation and advanced 3D computer animation.
